My Journey: From Corporate Stress to Healing Through Yoga

For years, I was caught in the cycle of corporate life—endless deadlines, long hours, and the constant pressure to perform. I thought I was thriving, but my body and mind told a different story. Back pain became a daily struggle, my posture deteriorated, and stress was taking a toll on my mental health.

The Breaking Point

Sitting at a desk for hours left me with persistent back pain and stiffness that no amount of medication or physiotherapy could fix. On top of that, anxiety began to cloud my days. I felt disconnected, lost, and trapped in a routine that no longer served me.

A New Beginning: Discovering Yoga

One day, in a moment of desperation, I decided to try yoga. At first, I thought it was just stretching and relaxation, but I quickly discovered it was much more. Yoga was a lifeline—a way to reconnect with myself, find peace, and begin healing from the inside out.

As I practiced regularly, my back pain eased, my mind calmed, and I felt more balanced than ever before. Yoga taught me to listen to my body and embrace the present moment—a stark contrast to the hectic corporate life I had known.

The Journey to Rishikesh: Yoga’s Spiritual Home

As my love for yoga deepened, I knew I wanted to learn more and share this transformative practice with others. This calling led me to Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga. Immersed in the serene beauty of the Himalayas, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Rishikesh was more than a training ground—it was a spiritual awakening. From early morning meditations by the Ganges to learning the philosophy of yoga, every moment deepened my connection to this ancient practice.

Advanced Training in Dharamshala, Himachal

Eager to expand my knowledge, I traveled to Dharamshala, Himachal, nestled in the majestic Himalayas. Here, I completed another 200-hour yoga training and pursued a yoga diploma. The peaceful environment and guidance from experienced teachers further solidified my belief in yoga as a path to holistic wellness.

Healing and Transformation

These experiences not only healed my body and mind but also transformed my outlook on life. Yoga wasn’t just a practice anymore—it became my way of life. It empowered me to leave behind the corporate grind and embrace a more meaningful, purpose-driven existence.

Creating “Yoga is Soul”

After returning from Rishikesh and Dharamshala, I knew my journey wasn’t just for me—it was meant to inspire others. I founded Yoga is Soul to help people struggling with pain, stress, or disconnection. Through yoga, I aim to guide them toward healing, balance, and a deeper connection with themselves.
